The "MAX" Wireless Cell phone signal booster

Product overview

There are currently no existing sticker type passive cell phone booster products that technically work. Similar products have been sold with the same claim as the “MAX” to boost your cell phone signal. These products are sold as a clear film sticker with a visible copper zigzag shape in a pattern to confuse you into thinking it actually does something. Similar products are usually small enough to stick on the back of a cell phone. Independent testing has shown that these stickers do NOT increase the signal when measured with a Spectrum Analyzer, despite their claims. A Spectrum Analyzer measures the radio wave signal strength over a specific frequency. With this device the product being used can be technically measured to see if it has any desirable increase in the signal strength, devoid of all marketing claims. As outlined below some of the sticker type boosters actually decrease and scatter the available signal, thus reducing your cell phones ability to lock on to the call effectively.si

Depending on your cell phone carrier, there are a number of different digital cellular technologies, including but no limited to: Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO), Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE), 3GSM, Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT), Digital AMPS (IS-136/TDMA), and Integrated Digital Enhanced Network (iDEN). There for testing of individual cell phones is not applicable to just one test. Some manufactures make several different versions of the same cell phone for different providers based on the frequency.ce

Our testing was done with an Anritsu/Wiltron model MS2721A which was calibrated and certified before testing. Implemented with SAE AS9100 and ISO 9001 and registered through NQA-USA 10437/1. The Certification of calibration system implements ISO 17025, ANSI Z540, ISO 10012, and MIL-STD-45662A. This accredited organization maintains A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for the specific test/calibrations listed in A2LA Certificate #2562-01 is freely provided on the web site.s

Test results & competitive analysis s

The top 5 known products were tested including the “As seen on TV” model below. This version clearly shows the signal output does not increase at all in any way. In some cases, depending on the placement of the sticker,it actually inhibited the existing signal.

When the “MAX” is tested as seen below, the signal strength increases on average between 3 and 6 Db gain. That is the equivalent to over DOUBLE the available signal strength. While it works well in any position, our best results were achieved when placing the “MAX” in a vertical or upright position.

The "Max" Portable Cellular Antenna        Our best results with over a 10 Db gain

The “MAX” does not stick on or plug in to your cell phone or PDA. It simply has to be positioned close to the person using a cell phone or PDA for optimum results as measured from the test equipment. Testing with the above Spectrum Analyzer resulted in an increase on average of 300% (6db) signal boost across several cell phone providers such as Sprint/Nextel, Verizon Wireless, AT&T and other carriers operating in the cell phone frequency spectrums.

Conclusion

As tested the sticker antennas did not show any measureable improvements under any circumstances. As claimed by the manufacture, the “MAX” is the only current passive device that has shown any measurable improvement of the cellular signal. If you are in a weak cellular area, then the “MAX” will improve your signal strength and stabilize your calls and internet access.  It will not create a signal that does not exist. True dead zones will remain dead. But the coverage area and usability of your cellular device will improve drastically. You can find the MAX at most major retailers or online at the company’s website www.12345MAX.com
